The Honda Accord has once again been named a Car and Driver 10Best pick, marking the 35th time Accord has made the prestigious list. This winning history is unmatched by any other vehicle, and this year marks the 23rd consecutive year that Accord has earned the coveted honor.

“This is the car we find ourselves recommending over and over to friends and family members who want a practical, fun-to-drive car,” said Sharon Silke Carty, editor-in-chief of Car and Driver. “It’s refined, dynamic and affordable. What more can you ask for? Congrats to Honda for its impressive winning streak.”

Refreshed for the 2021 model year, Accord sets the bar for the entire mainstream midsize sedan segment, featuring updated front-end styling, new technology such as Honda Sensing® with improved Lane Keeping Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control, newly available wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, and a new Sport SE trim. The Accord Hybrid adds valuable powertrain improvements plus 19-inch wheels on the Touring trim.

Available with Accord’s dramatically styled exterior and spacious class-above interior are a trio of powerful and fuel-efficient powertrains, including a 192-horsepower (SAE net) turbocharged 1.5-liter with CVT, a 252-hp (SAE net) 2.0-liter turbo with 10-speed automatic, and the upgraded 2-motor hybrid powertrain which offers a best-in-class 212 total system horsepower and a 48 mpg combined EPA rating. All Accords boast top-class refinement and driving dynamics.

Accord is America’s best-selling car of the past 44 years, with cumulative U.S. sales topping 14 million units, and U.S. production of more than 12 million units since going into production as the first U.S.-made car from a Japanese automaker on November 1, 1982, in Marysville, Ohio. Accord is manufactured using domestic and globally-sourced parts.
